Using a mix of pencil, ink and watercolour, the drawing illustrates an abstract continuous sequence of fish and plastic bottles.
Joanna Bucur | Plastic Fish Continuum | 2019
The idea behind this image is to represent the intrusion of human waste into the natural habitat of fellow living creatures of the Planet Earth.
Through the tears of the fish and the intercalation with single-use plastic waste, the artwork hopes of directing attention to the imbalance created by wasteful processes designed to serve and aid *just* the human.
